Paul Griffin, better known as phoenixdev, released updates for four of his most popular tweaks tonight.

I had been waiting for Shrink, but the release if Springtomize 3 eliminated my need for it.

Dimmer is one I've been waiting for since December, but unfortunately it is not yet compatible with f.lux (already corresponded with phoenixdev, and he hopes to have a fix in a few days).

You probably still want to use Shrink. Springtomize programmed his shrinking feature poorly: right after you tap a shrunk icon, it clicks into its normal size for a split second before it opens, and vice versa when you close it.

Bolt isn't working for me on iOS 7 running 7.0.4

is the battery image still showing? do you have another tweak that could possibly be making changes to the status bar?

you can also try clearing the status bar UI cache and see if that helps

Yeah I am running NoPercentSign and Cloaky

Hopefully he updates MusicControls Pro soon. Not having video backgrounding is driving me crazy!

which worked?

does this tweak work for all apps that play videos?

I uninstalled "NoPercentSign" and in Cloaky I turned back on the Battery and Battery Percent. Then in Bolt, I enabled "Hide % Sign".

---

Why in Bolt the only 2 settings do the same thing? "Battery Percent" and "Hide % sign" essentially do the same thing.

They shouldn't. Battery percent means the number. Hide % means the % symbol

I certainly cannot vouch for ALL apps, but in the couple of years I spent using it on iOS 5 and iOS 6, I never experienced an app for which it did not work.

Sometimes an app would not work automatically, so I would go in to the Music Controls Pro settings where there was an app list and I would "force" enable it for a particular app, at which point it would always work.

Unfortunately, I doubt that Music Controls Pro is a big priority for the dev, because the main functionality of the tweak (notification center and app switcher playback controls) has been superseded by Control Center in iOS 7

Bigify+ does the same thing with apps showing normal size for a split second before launching. Can you confirm that a Shrink doesn't do this?

If it's there with Shrink, I have not noticed it.

I do not have that problem at all, although sometimes the icons will get stuck at default size when closing an app until respring. I have a bug report in to Filippo Bigarella about it.

Shrink has its own animation problems, with the badges shifting all over the place. And it also does something funky to my apps when I open them: makes them shift a few pixels to the right just after opening.

Just a little bug I guess but the "% sign" doesn't get removed completely. It's removed on my home screen but displays randomly in certain apps.

I'm seeing zero issues or funkiness when using Bigify to resize my icons. I think I'll just stick with that for now.
