Hello, I would love some help if possible. I am traveling to London in mid May and I would like to buy the Apple Watch (sports edition) from the Apple Retail Store in Regent Street. Does anybody know if they take Diners Club credit card and whether there will be enough models available?

If your card is a universal card, Visa or MasterCard then you should be good. Unless the card you're referring to is only used for the diner.

More than likely you will not be able to walk into a store till much later this summer and purchase one.

There won't be any stock in store in May, as per Angela Ahrendts' recent email to retail employees.

It's a Diners Club credit card which I have used many times abroad. I am just not sure whether Apple Stores take it.

Sure, there's only one way to find out. I just wanted to know if anyone's used it before. The alarming thing is that there will be no stock according to the fellow readers in this forum.

Why don't you just call them? If you get the name of someone who works at the store who has told you that they accept it then you have some leverage. The fact that it worked for someone yesterday doesn't necessarily mean that it will work tomorrow.

I don't know where you're from, but you mention abroad and going to London. One thing to keep in mind assuming there is some crazy miracle and there's stock is that it will probably come with a UK power adapter. Everything else should be the same though and you'd just have to use a USB charger from your home country.

I am from Greece. The adapter is no problem since I have a UK to Standard European power adapter. I had bought my first iPhone from England too. Should I consider finding the watch a miracle?

It is my understanding that the Apple Stores do currently take Diner's Club cards, but Diner's Club is not accepted on the Apple Store website, Apple Store app, or iTunes.
