Dirtiest places you take your laptop?

I work in a steel mill, and i wouldn't go a day at work without my laptop. I play Diablo 2, and watch movies (i have about 65 movies on my hard drive).
^^ Same here. Not too out of the norm IMO.
I had a feeling a large majority does it, but wouldn't want to talk about it
I once almost dropped $2,500 into the bowl....I won't get deep into it, no pun intended.
I got my macbook in august, am still babying it too much, but the dirtiest place it has been is the couch maybe next year she will be allowed to go outside in the real world
maybe next year she will be allowed to go outside in the real world Haven't taken mine out in any real dirty places, usually I am using my iPhone in places like that such as the bathroom (find it a lot easier to manage and I am not usually in there for long so a laptop is way over kill).
I cook around my netbook sometimes; grease splatters, coats of flour and random crumbs are what it's subjected to during those times.
I thought it's normal. All of my roommates do the same, too. All PC though. After done, I'll just put it in the sink.I'll start.

Construction sites have to rank as THE dirtiest place to take computer hardware. The dust and small debris can easily clog a notebook thus, causing heat build up.
Usually, engineers that visits such areas take their laptops with them to show CAD structural drafts. Specialized laptops designed to withstand environmental punishment and ground impact when dropped from moderate heights are usually needed.
The Macbook Pros are fairly robust but I wonder if they could be classified as being of industrial strength quality for such environments.

don't get the thread. you take the laptop where you need to go work wherever that might be, right? seems some folks bought the machine to baby it instead of doing the work that it is supposed to help you do in the first place. kinda crippling for one's productivity if you ask me....
Well I use it heavily for work, then I need a--err---bathroom break, like most common folk
I'm pretty sure I'll drop it one day, but oh well.

I usually spend more than 5 minutes pooping so I live without my Macbook for that time.
I once took it to McDonalds, though. It's taking a big risk eating greasy food and drinking around a laptop, so I seldom do it.

Dude OMG! I also have exactly 65 movies on my HDD! they take up 61 GB.

Same here. iPhone very rarely. Dook time = Car and Driver/Automobile/New Scientist/other magazine time.
I take it everywhere, I don't baby it. I do try to be careful though.
Bathroom. Kitchen and cooking, I use it to follow a recipe or watch a movie.
I have also taken it into anatomy lab with cadavers.
I try to be careful, but don't follow some of the crazy people on here who won't have liquids within 10 feet of their laptop. On a plane the 15" takes up the whole tray, so one of the sides of the open MBP becomes a drink holder, other is for food. If I spill it, its my fault.
I like to have it on in the shower as well for music. I have the older white remote in the shower to control it.
