Hey,

I was looking for an annoyance fixer/tweak that disables the cover flow feature in the Music´s app.

I know there is NoCoverFlow but that isn´t updated for iOS7.

Anything similar that will do the trick?

Thanks in advance.

There's a patch in Flex2 called "Disable Landscape Mode" which does exactly that.

I can confirm it works.

New 'cover flow' is ugly as hell too! What happened to flipping between actual covers instead of a checkerboard? Oh wait, what happened to music app all together with huge artwork and impractical navigating and endless scrolling...

MusicAppMods helps

Is there a tweak in Flex that also rotates the normal music app to landscape mode while keeping the same functionality as portrait? Is there also one for Pandora and Spotify?

There is a nice tweak called Portrait Lock which allows you to select any app you want and set it so that it will always be in whatever orientation you want it whether that be portrait, landscape left, landscape right, or I think even upside down. It works really well.

So even if the app doesn't have a landscape mode it will rotate the portrait into landscape using this tweak?

Yeah, that doesn't do what I'm wanting. I want the old version of nocoverflow where the portrait version of the music app would rotate with the device when turned into landscape mode. I'm not trying to lock the orientation. In essence, I want the iP6+ to function more like an iPad when in landscape mode.

I wish Apple would let you toggle the old Coverflow on or off. I really liked it. Maybe one day a Cydia dude will release a tweak for it.
