Hi, I have a iMac G5 which is constantly freezing. I think, it's the onboard RAM. is there a way to disable it and use only the module in the memory slot? Thanks in advance!

I tried without the extra RAM and i get kernel panics, and freezes all the time :/ I opened up open firmware and see both RAM modules but idk how to disable the first one.

maybe ill just have to remove the chip from the mainboard? where is it? x..X

i mean, it's an amputation but the imac is dead otherwise.
