Disable k9 parental controls

My mom bought my son an iPad for Christmas and had this k9 web browser installed at the apple store. How do I disable it so I can play with this thing?

Delete it like any other app? Or don't and just use safari?

I assume Safari has been turned off per the instructions posted here:
http://www1.k9webprotection.com/support/set-idevice-restrictions

Just ask your mom for the parental control password so you can turn Safari back on.
