Disable power button

Is there a way to disable the power button when the computer is on because people (my idiot friends) keep pressing it when I'm working and the shutdown menu.

I don't believe so.

Suggested fix: new friends.

An elbow in the groin should also work.

You can hit escape key when they bring up the shut down dialogue box to cancel it, before they hit enter.

That's about all you can do.
