Disable Siri Turn-by-Turn in Maps

Has anyone found out how to do this? I'd rather listen to music/podcasts then be reminded where to turn every 45 seconds.

Just open your music app and start playing music...?

Try disabling Siri too if you don't want any interruption in music. (edit: nevermind, doesn't disable it in navigation)

I usually do Stitcher or Downcast on my way to work, and Siri speaks right over them. I've filed a report as Consultant suggested.
