Is there any way to disable the New Text pop-up on the 3GS running 3.0? I know you can turn off the preview, but i'm looking to get rid of the whole popup. I have notifier/reminder installed so I get the icon in my status bar so I don't really need the pop-up notification (especially while playing games!). Also, if i do disable the pop-up, will it still play the new text sound?

I searched for pop up blocker in Cydia but I don't see it.

    I should have all sources.

I searched 'popup' and found popup blocker. Don't know how picky Cydia is.

    Hmmm....

How can I be sure I have that source? When I search for popup blocker, nothing comes up.

If it's not shown, press edit then add and type it in.

Try Google if you need additional step by step instructions.

Got it. Do you just turn SMS Privacy "ON"?

Why is Call Privacy already "ON"?
