Is there any reason, day after day, I say "OK" to dismiss the consistent "Turn on WiFi for Location Accuracy" in apps I've already hit "OK" to and the pop up continues to come up? I've connected to WiFi networks before and I have WiFi off when obviously there's no WiFi around. This is very irritating when I've already dismissed the message on the same apps and it continuously comes up. These apps are both from Apple and third party.

I've noticed this as well. I've come to the conclusion that once you turn off WiFi and open any app that requires location it kind of just resets the notification. I wonder if it just a bug.

I've always thought this was by design. For some reason, they want you to have Wi-Fi on.

I agree that it's stupid - if I know I can't use Wi-Fi, I'll turn it off.

Always annoyed me

This has always annoyed me. I had satellite Internet at home with data capsmand an unlimited 3G/4G data plan and cell was always faster and unlimited. I had to deal with this for years.

I finally got point to point Internet at home and got to leave Wifi on, but it's annoying as hell.
