Well. I use Firefox for my browser, and sometimes I use its keyboard shortcut fn+control+up/down to switch between tabs.

Err, well, in Sequoia, fn+control+up/down is used to snap a window to the top or bottom of the screen. So if I use the shortcut in Firefox, it switches tabs AND it moves my window.

Is there a way to disable (or change) these new keyboard shortcuts for tiling? I already disabled the other tiling features (I use Rectangle which has more options), but I poked around settings and I couldn't find any option to disable the keyboard shortcuts that they added.

Fn-Control-Up arrow or Fn-Control-Down arrow isn't doing anything on my Mac with Sequoia 15.0.1. Test in a new user perhaps?

Yes to disable, but something odd blocks changes.

If you change the Top, Bottom, Left, and Right shortcuts to something else this disables the fn+control+up/down/left/right shortcuts.

System Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts... > App Shortcuts > All Applications.

Use plus sign to add new shortcuts for the 4 directions, like this:

Make them anything you like, but something you won't want to use for anything else.

The good thing a) is that this disables the fn+control+up etc. and b) the new shortcuts appear under the menu item Window > Move & Resize.
The weird thing (bug?) is that the new shortcuts don't work!

Man, so weird. I'm going to give this a try, though, thanks. I poked through this very keyboard shortcuts dialog but it was not at all clear to me that this "App Shortcuts" page was where to look for the snapping shortcuts.

I don't care if it breaks the snapping shortcuts. I might snap windows left/right but I am never going to snap them top/bottom.

[Edit]
OK, I didn't realize that you actually need to "add" new shortcuts when I first read your post, but I figured it out now. I only did the "Top" and "Bottom" ones, but it works great... I can switch tabs in Firefox again without stuff zooming all around! Thanks again.

Oh, and the new shortcuts actually work for me too. I set control+option+up/down as "replacements" for these shortcuts, and if I hit that keyboard combination, it does actually snap the window.
