disabling good / VLC from source for UB

so I see it says to disable goom when compiling the source code of vlc to make a universal binary

what is the flag for that

is it something done during the ./configure?

Try

./configure --without-goom

(I am assuming "goom" is one of the libraries that would normally be processed during a regular "make" step)

yeah I usually download the most recent nightly intel build, I'm just doing this for fun
