Is there a way to disable specific animations in Lion (like the swipe into 'Full Screen' mode, for example), perhaps via a terminal command?

Figure for future searchers, it'd be better to add to this thread than start a new one...

Is there a way to speed up or disable the animation when moving from Space to Space? The new Lion transition is strangely a bit nauseating... never had that previously.

For what it's worth, the 10.6 method no longer works:
defaults write com.apple.dock workspaces-swoosh-animation-off -bool YES

I'm also wondering if anyone has figured out yet how to disable the space-changing animation in Lion. The command "defaults write com.apple.dock workspaces-swoosh-animation-off -bool YES" from 10.6 doesn't seem to work in Lion.
