If $18 is THAT important, you likely should not be buying a new phone!

When you place your order it add the $30 Unlimited plan back in.:)

$18 is $18. If they don't charge him that then he could spend it on a case. Why in the world would someone be a fan of being charged extra money if they didn't have to be?

I kind of believe that by not selecting another plan on the At&t site, you will retain the $30 unlimited plan. Tho, it doesn't show Unlimited Data Plan on the confirmation email for me. It just states "Data Plan for iPhone." In any case, I have to call in to get the $5 text messaging plan added to my account since that's no longer an option.

I am just telling you what happend to me, twice when I ordered two 4S phones this am. Our 4 lines are eating out of the same bucket of minutes and tests so I could care less about anything except the unlimited and that worked out well.

Good luck if you need to call AT&T for the next day or so. You can add the text thing on any time.

If it meant if you could order or not the $18 is chump change!:p

I ordered from Apple and had np keeping my unlimited plan, was a choice for me. I went apple because wanted the upgrade plus. I guess i just trust Apple more for them get me the phone with no headache. And to me easier to deal with just apple store if there is a problem with the phone itself.

In Jacskonville, if something is wrong with your phone, AT&T tells you to go to the Apple store. They take care of any problem no matter where you bought the phone. It is either under warranty or not.

Help! I'm trying to order from At&t, but I don't see an option to stay with my existing Unlimited Data plan.

On the "Premier" website for business and employer discounts it never said anything about the data plan. It was also down for almost two hours after the original preorder release time...some "premier" site

My unlimited was replaced by "unlimited data for iPhone 4s"

Same here. When you get to teh screen that says it is going to remove unlimited plan, click ok. Next screen will allow you to choose unliimited iphone 4s plan

I didn't see anything like this when I upgraded. It would be interesting to see on the back end if there is anything different in AT&T's system (coding wise) that differentiates the "unlimited data" from "unlimited data for iPhone 4s".

I am wondering that too. Not that we have a choice but I did not read the fine print!
