Disappearing app

I've successfully downloaded the New Yorker Magazine app, but for the second time now (last time was last year), I can't find it on my iPad. When I Spotlight search it, it's there, but it isn't among my apps on my Home pages. What gives??

Duh... thank you! Don't know why it used to be listed separately. Maybe I made the change.... who knows? Luddite here.

Newsstand was introduced with iOS 5. Before that, it would have been a separate icon on its own.
