disappearing hd space

OK im lost on what is happening to my mbp, over the weekend I ran the geek bench and just used it to browse the net. Checked my widgets for nhl scores and noticed my hard drive space dropped just over 10gb. I have nothing recently saved downloaded ect. Any ideas on what Could be eating up this space?

Download disc inventory X. I find this tool highly useful. It has a great way of displaying stuff that eats up HD space. I found a few log files that ended up in the GB range... still afraid to delete them though 😀
