disappearing home button in safari

It seems that since installing SL, my home icon in Safari keeps going missing. I can add it to the toolbar and it'll stay there only until I close the app. Upon re-opening, it's gone. Anyone else have this problem? I don't know that it's related to SL, but the problem has only started since the upgrade. Thanks

The com.apple.Safari.plist may have been damaged somehow. I think in addition to storing things like your homepage, and general Safari preferences it may also cache things like your toolbar settings as well. If you remove it from ~/Library/Preferences and re-customize your toolbar and anything else cleared by pulling that file, does it work again?
