Disappearing icons

When I download a to my desktop using Safari, it will not show up on the desktop. However, when I locate the file in Spotlight, it's there on the desktop, but I can't see it.

It also doesn't show in finder. This only happens when downloading with Safari, Firefox works fine.

If you manage to click on one of these files, could you select Get Info from the File menu and post the results. 🙂
