The good news is that the date on the review is today, so I would imagine the embargo does lift today.

It's so frustrating... why won't they just run a benchmark or something!

Why would the Independent, with its hugely consumer-friendly review, have RAM specs? They don't tend to list any numbers.

Most likely will be on the Plus with a big battery and lack of any real multitasking.

This review could have been written by someone who never touched the phone. He basically took the spec page and ran with it.

One of the advantages is a bigger phone has room for a bigger battery. The iPhone 6 Plus just keeps going. I found it seriously capable of going strong even when I didn’t charge it for two successive nights.

After years of rigorously, anxiously plugging a phone in every single night and probably most afternoons, I cannot tell you how intensely liberating this is. The iPhone 6 is a big step forward in battery life and the Plus is even better.

I wish he went into more detail on what he actually did during those days. I wonder how well it can cope with extensive Whatsapp usage, as an example!

I could write a review of a flying car, myself. That doesn't mean he's lying.

It's not about lying. It's about giving a properly balanced review.

That Inde piece is an advert. Not a review by any reasonable standard.

    I've ordered a 6 and a 6+. I'm going to like my 6+ a lot I'm sure.

I still don't want to see rubbish like the Inde article. It's a disease in the tech industry.

    Embargo lifting at 6PM PST?

The Independent review posted about 6PM in the UK. My guess is that they scheduled it for local time instead of Apple time. So, I would draw from that that the guess of 6PM PST for the embargo to be lifted is correct! Get ready!
