Sure. Who cares if the internet knows your personal preferences. I've had a bunch of phones. None are perfect. The 6/6+ included.

This whole forum is made up of personal subjective opinions. Even bad ones have the right to be here.

You felt the need to make your opinion known about this thread. That, to me, is even worse than the thread itself. Find something better to do.

2. How can they make a phone with camera lens sticking out? The lens touches wherever you place the phone on. And overtime, even some scratch on the lens will severely affect the image quality.

3. The lines on the back are just plain ugly.

It's a rushed product that needs a lot improvement. It's not an "Apple" quality product. It sells well only bc the eco system and ios system and ppl've been waiting for a larger phone from apple.

The lens is made of sapphire so I wouldn't worry about scratching, unless the keys in your pocket are made of diamond...

So your opinion about my opinion about someone else's opinion is ok?

Is this Inception?

FWIW, people seem to get off on coming to an Apple forum and posting anti-apple/iphone/etc stuff. I don't get it.

I wish that were true, many people on this forum are seeing pretty poor battery life with the 6.

Ah contrar, I'm on Day 2 of my battery life and got 20% left and have worn it out both days.

Secondly, if people don't like the phone return it, quit bitching no one made you buy it. If your iPhone 4 is what you like then keep living in 2010 bro no ones forcing you to buy a new one. The general consensus is everyone wanted the larger screen, they kept the 5S for people like my wife who think my 6 is obnoxious. To each their own it's called choices and when you don't like something you don't buy it.

Yeah. A 4.3" would have fit nicely in the 5/5s. Reduced bezels.

I would've kept my 5s if it were 4.3". It would've been great. It was a great phone anyway, but the screen was small and needed to be bigger.

Everything here is an opinion on the phone, which is fine, as you're entitled. But then you toss "Tim Cook sucks" out there, and it all just turns you into a petulant whiner.
Period.

I'm an apple fan, and i love the larger screen and ios system.

But after playing with the phone for a day, i'm disappointed

1. The phone material feels more and more like Samsung junk. It says it's made of aluminum, but it just feels plastic. Compared to the gorgeous iphone 4 and 5s body, it just feels and looks so much uglier

2. How can they make a phone with camera lens sticking out? The lens touches wherever you place the phone on. And overtime, even some scratch on the lens will severely affect the image quality.

Tim Cook sucks.

Now i see what the larger screen from Apple looks like. for the first time, i start considering getting a phone not made from Apple next time i upgrade

What is your ideal phone then?

I disagree. While the larger size will take some getting used to, it was inevitable. Even Steve Jobs would have released a larger iPhone by now, and 4.7" was the logical size given that it retains the 326ppi screen. I like the look of the new screen with the curved glass. The protruding camera lens is a little odd, but the tradeoff would have been lower quality pictures. With the case, it's a non-issue.

I've been seeing the whole "feels like samsung" thing several times and I just wonder, have you picked up a samsung phone since the Galaxy 3? My girlfriend owns the S5 and when I pick it up despite it being all plastic, feels closer to that apple premium feeling than any other android phone on the market right now. I dont think the "cheap samsung feel" is really adequate anymore.

I DO think, however, that this iPhone is made out of less metal? Or at least a different type of metal than iPhones before. I myself am so allergic to the nickel in iPhones I can actually feel the sting on my fingers when I hold my iPhone 5 without its case. Holding my new 6+ I don't feel any sting or twinge.

I think a lot of people are mistaking the lack of heft to iPhone 6/6+ as cheapness. I felt this way when I held the iPad Air for the first time.

The iPhone 6 feels a bit thin to me, but it is the perfect thickness (IMO) once you add an Apple leather or silicone case.

I don't get it... You saw the keynote... Saw the leaks... Everything came in the box EXACTLY like both of those...

And you are surprised? What did you expect?

Now i see what the larger screen from Apple looks like. for the first time, i start considering getting a phone not made from Apple next time i upgrade

If you really felt that way you'd return your 6. You're not switching to another brand.

Put it in a nice case and you won't notice the things you say bother you.

considering all these "newbies" coming around and literally saying the same thing, my guess is he doesnt really have one

I think that's the problem, though.

I suspect that OP is most unhappy because he or she is entrenched in the Apple ecosystem, making it very inconvenient to simply get a different brand phone... yet doesn't really like the only option within the ecosystem.

It's a tough call, really. You either accept the (often major) flaws of the Apple devices and remain within the ecosystem, or you abandon the ecosystem for another product that you might prefer (or it might have its own set of flaws that you are more compatible with) and deal with changing ecosystems.

It's this dilemma that I think makes people particularly upset when their devices have flaws.

Next person who says they are afraid the lens will scratch, I'm gonna stomp on a kitten, a puppy, and a baby seal!!

Unless you lay your phone on diamonds, you can't scratch it. It's sapphire.

As far as what cheap looking goes. Go have a look at the Samsung Alpha. Now that's cheap looking. Only Samsung can make metal look like plastic.

I can respect that you don't like it.

Personally, I love mine.

The lens is made of sapphire so I wouldn't worry about scratching, unless the keys in your pocket are made of diamond...

I found that very amusing. :)

I have my doubts though. Sapphire is surely stronger, but such a thin piece if keys or something press hard against it I would thing it scratch. But I really have no idea.

I love my iphone 6, it is the best iphone ever.

4 million pre orders can't be wrong.

This will be the best selling iphone every because it is the best and most amazing mobile you can buy.

All the news and magazine reviews say the same, it is the best smartphone ever.

If some one don't like it like the one that makes this thread it is ok. One in 1 Million will not change anything.

Thanks Apple for building this amazing new phones.

Yeah, the phone seems a little more "generic" than any iPhone before it (IMO) but a case would solve just about all of your complaints. I'm guessing you're the type that doesn't use a case though.

Return it, now. You are not getting the experience you should so why even keep it for a year

I don't understand how anybody could possibly think these phones feel plasticy?? Granted I have the 6 plus and havent held an acual 6, but they are made of the same materials..

Ahhhh....yes they can. How many of those pre-order customers were even in the presence of the phone before they purchased it. Let me help you; none.

Really?

You have 14 days to return it. If you don't like it, then return it and get the phone you think is better. There are plenty of people looking for a iphone 6 right now, that would love to take it off your hands.

I was disappointed when I watched the iPhone 6 announcement as well. I was dead set on buying one, and I was really hoping the leaks were false about the look of the new phone. What has been a deal breaker for me so far was that they continue to use huge top and bottom bezels, making a small 4.7" display feel like a huge phone. I mean, my LG G3 has a 5.5" screen and when put next to my friends iPhone 6 in a slim case they are the same size. That along with the specs (weak battery, again compared to the 3000mAh in my very similar sized G3, 1GB of RAM, etc.). Looks like I'll be holding out for the iPhone 6S.

Had the G3 battery life was horrible for me. Ito my work phone and 7 hours top of I was lucky. I get my 6 plus tomorrow. I expect similar life to be close to my Note 3. I hope it's does so I can stop with keeping Mophie on them.
