iPad Disappointed with smart case for iPad 4

So I bought the new ipad 4 with the smart case. The port at the bottom is setup for the bigger 30 pin connector and now the lightening connector.

Do you think to return it? Would apple update the design soon?

Have you got a picture? The Apple Smart Cover doesn't have any ports on it. It just covers the front.

its the smart case, not the cover.

I usually keep my ipad in my bag, so its easily capable of being scratched up and scuffed up.

Looks like the smart case is only made for the 30 pin from what I see =(. As long as it's within 14 days you should be able to return it no questions asked.

I don't think they'll bother updating it for the iPad 4. If they were going to, they should have announced it at the release of the iPad 4. Probably coasting until iPad 5's redesign.... cost-cutting
