Disc Image Question

I downloaded Yahoo Messenger for Mac, and I copied it into applications then ejected the disc image, but anytime I open messenger, it reappears. I'm new with Macs. Help?

Try going into your downloads, moving the image to the trash and emptying it. That will prevent it from popping up again, and it won't delete your program
