If it will ruin the phone putting it in a cheap case, why not get a really nice case then?
It seems like you want your cake and to eat it too…lol

You owned your phone for over two weeks and didn’t use a case, yet you’re claiming there’s a massive mark on it that you didn’t notice for that entire time. It sounds like you caused the mark by not using a case.

i have never dropped this phone though so how could i have caused a mark? my father said it looks like a chemical dripped on the phone as theres a series of dots that follow that big one, that pic doesnt convey everything as it is from a very low quality camera in the SE. i don't have access to anything better

Can you take a picture under better lighting rather than darkness? I have an OGSE too and I use it to take photographs for posting here and they all look good. It can’t take decent pictures under poor lighting conditions so you have to turn on a light.

Then use a case? Or don’t have a perfect phone.. but you shouldn’t not use a case then get mad it is not perfect.
again like i mentioned that is not caused by dropping i am very careful with my devices i used a 16pro max case less for a year and it looked flawless i admit that pic is horrible quality and doesn't show it very well but i dont have any better camera to use

Honestly struggling to see it. It’s just minor discolouration that’s invisible unless you already know it’s there.

You have already stated that you owned your phone for over 2 weeks without noticing the mark. It’s not damaged as the titanium band isn’t scratched or dented either. I would just get over it like a normal person and live my life without worrying about something so insignificant. You can always sell it a year from now for an Air 2 or 18.

yeah but you probably don't have ocd like i do lol im going to have to deal with it though as ive already tried to replace it at apple and was denied.

The black titanium frame on my Air sometimes has marks that are stubborn to wipe away with a dry microfibre cloth, and need a slightly damp cloth to get rid of them properly. Thankfully no lasting discolouration.
