Yes! I have his listing in my back pocket. Was hoping for something with quicker shipping and slightly better quality, but I am getting impatient haha.
I just ordered from them as well because someone finally posted a thin stripe black woven nylon I had been looking for for a while. Can’t wait until it gets here…. someday lol.

Have you ever shopped ChargerStore on eBay?
So interestingly, I just noticed something weird about one of ChargerStore's prices. I know they're usually pretty trustworthy, but right now he's got a Nike pride sport band for $69 ( https://www.ebay.com/itm/402772623536 ) which is literally still available for the usual $49 price direct from Nike ( https://www.nike.com/t/44mm-pride-edition-sport-band-regular-vkx2zN/MYD62AMA-900 )

... does anyone know what gives?

Yeah he has those weird prices from time to time. I guess it covers the customs he has to pay for boxed bands. Also he‘s not totally in touch with the retail market. Which is fine, more time for my king to focus on prototypes.

44mm Purple Pulse sport band $30. Same seller as @athousandbands posted above. The seller has a bunch more S5 era bands for sale, including Khaki and discounted Milanese Loops.

Wowza pink blast loop for $21 (and much much more). Khaki, as you said, sheesh.

Yeah the fact that we have seen several large drops of S5 bands for cheap recently makes me think sales really took a dive last year with the pandemic and Apple ended up with a bunch of left over stock. That would also explain why Apple left the fall colors for sale on their website for the whole year.

I agree, but for authorized resellers, not Apple themselves. Many of which might have closed for business because of pandemic. I think Tim’s just-in-time machine deserves a little more credit than that. If drop-in impulse purchases fell off in spring and summer 2020, so be it. But they would just stop producing the bands.

And the fall bands that came back in stock in August 2020 were conceived of and produced for a long time before the December 2019 covid beginning rumblings.

Ah yeah now that you point it out, I agree we are seeing stock that had been at authorized resellers. I still suspect the online Apple restock over the summer was old retail stock they were trying to sell off. But, we’ll never really know for sure I guess!

Too bad no actual pictures. Nope.

There are plenty of wholesalers that don’t have time for pics or customer messages but usually when they put the part number and have wide-ranging stores with dead stock, it’s trustworthy. To quote our long lost Mike...there’s always the eBay guarantee to fall back on

Yeah the only proof positive I’ll get is if we see the fall20 bands having robust stock through the summer. I mean it still feels like they haven’t met demand for some sizes of plum solo loop.

One thing is for sure, if we waited all this time for the spring21 bands and they still have backorder issues, it will be pretty unforgivable!

My finger is hovering over the buy button…

Must… resist…
