What's odd about the ebay seller I linked to is that they're also selling the Green Alpine loop band in a plastic bag without box (claiming it's original): https://www.ebay.com/itm/314803442643?

It's making me 2nd guess that the bands they're selling are authentic.

While I think it’s dumb of them to put an OEM product in the surgical tool bag that screams “fake” I trust it. Wholesalers on eBay don’t mess about when it comes to authenticity. And eBay will have your back if any item isn’t satisfying.

and yeah I feel you; my $500 sealed s8 hermes was legit lost in that crazy Chicago snowstorm last winter when we were all assuming it was a Poshmark scam and then when i finally grabbed it—had to go to the post office not super nearby—it was pure ecstasy.

Of course it doesn’t have a warranty bec it was never “purchased” but I’ve survived.

I took it off the charger this morning around 9am. It's almost 2pm and I'm at 75%. I think it'll be okay. If it gets bad, I have a warranty until 02/2024 or I'll pay the $99 for a battery replacement. All in all...I'm satisfied. I would like the 2,000 nits on the S9 but I'm going to chill and enjoy this win LoL

I don't really need the sleep tracking. I was sleeping with the AWU and never really looked at the data--also charged every 36 hours. Two days (with the AWU) became a stretch for me once I started running more.

Yeah at this point wearing a watch to sleep is more about the alarm and dialing in my bedtime podcast volume with extreme precision.

Not your model, but I did get a kick out of checking wrist temp each morning while taking the late model of Covid for a test drive a few weeks ago 😪

Yeah quick fever, very light throat issues like last summer. Thanks! For sure stopped being in denial and took a test when the health app said my wrist was hot two mornings running (something you have to seek out). Very illustrative of the “nudge” aspect of the fledgling health features. Like sure i own a thermometer but would I ever actually bother using it?

I'd love to trade my Green Alpine loop (S) with your Orange Alpine loop :)

I actually find the green alpine loop kinda ugly, but I do wear it for comfort. The ocean loop looks the best to me, but it is not the most comfortable (not saying it's uncomfortable though).

With new Ultra bands that just came out, I'm now scouring sites to see if there's an inexpensive orange alpine loop (S) for sale at a much cheaper price. I couldn't justify $99 for it :(

I’m a medium and gotta stay complete! Telling myself I don’t need the new Ultra bands but then I saw the Blue Alpine is much more colorful in YouTube videos.

Def gonna try to stay 60 bucks and below for that and Orange Ocean and maybe 50 and below for everything else.
