Discounts / Sales on OEM bands

Based on the ship date on the obscured original shipping label on this obviously 90% off Hermes Mercari order i just received and someone getting their shipment from Apple on the Hermes thread, i think it’s safe to say the 90% bands are out there, ready to shape the market.

Do you think a glut of them will force the prices downward? I wouldn’t mind some discounted Hermès bands, I don’t expect them to be 90% off still but hopefully they wouldn’t be close to MSRP.

Truly no idea. I know if there’s a mass cratering I’ll feel a little sick having just gone for this Rouge de Cœur at my normal pre-90% yoink threshold. At the same time, I have no “apple” era leather left to get outside the crazy rare ones; certainly i had every unique single tour leather color apple was selling in the 90 sale save Cœur and Rose Texas. Hoping to resist the siren song of the latter as I have the nylon.

Not sure Texas Swift had any deadstock tho. Feels like it was the typical sexy spring 41mm color that sold out.

yeah all of my 90% bands came in yesterday after a month or so of the order date

Well eat too much sodium or change the weather and it might feel better.

Seriously though not all my Hermes feel quite the same. They do a good job with tolerances/conformity of the holes but it’s not perfect perfect?
