When posting links to deals it would be very helpful to know what it’s actually for. I am sure I’m not the only one here who would like to know that information before clicking.

Is it not expanding the links? MR can be inconsistent

Actually, I am thinkful for those that post links to deals. I would hate to have those folks post less deals because folks want/expect a write up of some sort. Don't make it hard for these folks to post helpful info.

You may see a lot less posts in this thread if you make it more time consuming to make those posts. Is clicking on a link, then hitting the back button that hard? Anyway, that's my opinion...

Ok good to know. Let’s hope it gets fixed by the admin or whoever
There’s a lot of inconsistency with which links show a preview and which don’t - my (non-developer) impression would be that it has more to do with the website itself than the MR forum settings.

Plus, the preview will show a thumbnail picture and then whatever the poster wants to include in their title, which doesn’t always include relevant info. Personally, I like to include the basics when I post - type of band, color, watch size. Those are (for me) the first three deciding factors for whether I’d want to click further.

Regardless, I don’t mind clicking through — I’m still learning what bands (colors, types, price ranges) people want to see posted here, so each link is a potential yoink or a helpful example. 😁
