There’s a weird habit some of these sellers have of this crude white painting out of everything but the band, especially on some of these Hermes listings where they even paper over the lugs a bit by accident...it’s like what are you hiding? You’re not making it look like an Apple hero shot at all.

Yep, it’s the holder for Edition bands. Much smaller than the trifold.
The fact that it’s in that sleeve means they’re almost certainly legit. The color also looks right to me from the photo. Obviously it will have the size markings on it and the assembled in China, but I’m pretty sure that linked listing is the real deal.

I've always been curious (but not at $79), but will wait in case something changes with S6. I vaguely recall there's been at least 2 versions of this, and the old version doesn't fit the new watches perfectly?

They have a titanium pin but it can be hard to spot in pics. The pin doesn’t have any markings like the Hermès or Nike Lab, it’s just made of titanium.

I mean it’s very likely it was a launch year only thing to promote the card. Certainly the first new chassis design in almost a decade and the advent of 5G (however scammy it is) and Apple’s general strong position right now makes them not likely wanting to boost iPhone sales in this potential “super cycle.”

Man, some of you never take chances. Only reason I have some of my rare ones are because they were bought heavily used.
Midnight Fog is no cargo khaki or soft pebble/white. Certain rare bands I would take a chance on, but not this color.
