I don't see how a discussion related to that topic could be had without it drifting over into comments involving politics or social issues, and we don't allow that outside the Political News forum.

If a website, such as MacRumors, offers a forum where users can post comments on stories, news, articles, products, etc... then users should be permitted to comment on all such posts.
