Disk burning problems

I need to burn a presentation on to a black CDR and i have tried dragging it on to the disk and copy and pasting it on to the disk but every time it just copys shotcuts, not the actual thing. How can i get it to copy the presentation?

In Leopard, I believe it will copy shortcuts for the files when it builds the burn folder. However, when you actually perform the burn, they will all be resolved. The was changed from the previous method where by the files to be furned were copied to the burn folder. That was cumbersome and confusing, and inefficient.
