Disk doctor has no drive to scan

Hi Guys,

My mac has been restarting out of nowhere so I decided to download disk doctor but it doesn't have access to any of my drives to scan. Sorry this might be a newbie question but I don't have much experience troubleshooting macs. Any idea on how to fix this? I attached a screen shot. When I select the user folder, there is no drive that I can choose to scan.. Any help would be appreciated.
