Disk Drive HELP

My disk drive keeps spitting the CD out right after I insert it.

-The CD is clean-no fingerprints
-The CD is not blank.
-I know it doesn't have anything to do with the CD, because I've tried many other CD's.

Please help. I need the files on this CD.

Okay, well tell us a little more about your system. What sort of Mac do you have and what OS are you running? When did this start happening? Hopefully we'll be able to get this sorted for you soon. 🙂

I think it started maybe about a month ago.

Okay, well start by resetting the SMC. Does this help at all?
