Disk Images

Anyone know how do make and then burn disk images in OS X? I've looked all through disk copier, and have no idea. Any suggestions without buying Toast?

in disk copy go to image>burn image

In Disk Copy, go to Image -> New Blank Image. Choose a size as large as you need but no larger. (The image will only end up being as big as the amount of space the files inside it take up.) Name the image what you like, drag & drop whatever you need inside the image, then unmount ("eject") it and burn it (Image -> Burn Image).
