2nd thread started in 2 minutes...
I am trying to install XP to get some games but every time I try to partition the HDD it doesn't work. it says...
'The disk cannot be partitioned because some files cannot be moved.'
'Back up the disk and use Disk Utility to format it as a single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume. Restore your information to the disk and try using Boot Camp Assistant again.'
I'm not sure how i 'moved files' I did do a 'Erase Free Space' a while ago in disk utility, could this be my downfall?
Can i get it to partition the HDD without having to Back-up and restore the entire disk?
Cheers
Jake
