Just brought a TOSHIBA External HD and am trying to format it to work on my Macbook.

Having had a search for instructions, I've gone to Utilities under Apps and there is no Disk Utilities option, all that's in the folder is Adobe Utilities...

Any suggestions?

I still have the OS Tiger installation disks but don't want to wipe anything.

Thanks in advance
Tom

Use Spotlight and type Disk Utility there

If you have really erased it, you can reinstall it from the install disk I think. If not, then just boot off the disk and use its Disk Utility to format it
