Hi all,

I installed Ubuntu on my iMac, and it made 2 new partitions: DISK0S3 and Linux Swap. Here's what my disk utlity looks like:

my.php

When I try to remove Linux Swap, it says that the partition (map is too small. When I try to remove DISK0S3, nothing happens and it keeps running forever before I press +Q to quit.

Any solutions?

Thanks!

The easiest way to solve this is to use an Ubuntu live disk. Load up Ubuntu, start the Partition Editor, and delete the swap partition and the other partition.
Make sure you leave the HFS+ Macintosh hard drive partition and any partition that precedes it.
You can then use OS X's Disk Utility on the installation disc to expand the HFS+ partition to take up the unallocated space left by the two GNU/Linux partitions.
