I purchased my Macbook Pro just over a year ago with Tiger as the OS. Since then i have purchased leopard with a buddy and installed it on my computer. And lent my Tiger OS install disk to a friend of mine. Im trying to partition my disk with bootcamp but it errors and tells me to fix it using the Disk Utility. Unfortunately, the DU doesn't do much to help. I believe i need put in my install disk and repair it from there.

My question is am i able to put in my Tiger install disk and use the disk utility on there to repair this disk? Or do i need to track down the leopard disk from the first friend in question, haha.
Thanks for the help.

Either one should work equally well. The benefit to using the Leopard disk is that Disk Utility under Leopard supports non-destructive partitioning, which makes mucking with drives much easier.
