Hi there.

For some reason, the "Destination" field under the "Restore" tab in Disk Utility is grayed out, and I have no idea how to make it available to me. I can't seem to find anyone else who has this problem. Any suggestions? It's grayed out for my PowerBook's harddrive, which sort of makes sense, but even after I zero'd over my iPod it's still unavailable!

I would think that it's available to all volumes except your current Mac OS X volume, which means it should work for your iPod. Mine's greyed out too, which it should be until you put a volume on it. Drag and drop a volume from the left list of disks onto the greyed area, and it should be selected.
