Hi all,

I bought my MBP in January and run a disk utility check about once a month. Every single time I run it I receive an error (as above). It asks me to then reboot and run the Disk Utility from the maintenance boot up (CMD+R) which then repairs it. However, next time I check again the same error is back...

Is there a way to permanently fix this or is it a case of a faulty HDD? In which case I back up regularly via time machine so I could go and ask Apple to swap it? I'd rather not have the hassle if it can be fixed any other way.

Thanks for your help.

This is the error (although copied from someone else on Google):

You could use Diskwarrior to fix it but if it keeps coming back it is most likely hardware based. So prepare to have it possibly die on you. Back up often.
