Has anyone here used Disk Warrior to fix the following HD problem?:

"Incorrect number of thread records"

(Or does anyone know if this isn't something Disk Warrior could address?)

You mean Alsoft's DiskWarrior? That tool has saved several Macs' data from hard drive directory corruption for me. I'm sure it can handle your issue too.
