Do you think notifications dismissed on the watch will be dismissed on your iphone? Even the ipad shows notifications on the lock screen after being dismissed on your iphone. The badges also still show until the app is opened.

Android wear works this way. Do you think the apple watch will work in a similar manner?

As someone who also uses a nexus phone/tablet, that is something I would like to see apple bridge.

I think that they would dismiss on the phone as well.

    I couldn't agree any more!!
Even FaceTime notifications are spotty on clearing from one after being cleared from the other. Soooooo annoying. I'd also like to see swipe to dismiss notifications or ANYTHING easier than that stupid miniscule x that only clears all notifications of an app at once. I want more granular control.

I think they will dismiss, but the notification will still appear until you interact with it. The situation I described above with the iphone/ipad is probably how it will work.

The notification will appear still on your lock screen until you unlock the phone or actually open the app to remove the badge. I hope I am wrong, but since it does not work that way now I am skeptical.

Apple Watch is basically an extension of your iPhone, as it shows the notifications your iPhone gets. It's connected via Bluetooth. Why would the notifications still been the iPhone lock screen if dismissed using the watch? It's different to the iPad as only iCloud connects iPhone and iPad. I refer to dismissing notifications, replying or reading.
