Disney+ doesn't track what I've watched?

Am I missing something? Disney+ has been around for over a year now (I think) and it doesn't track episodes I've watched. I believe it tracks it if I watch it on iPhone and that transfers to the app on AppleTV. Any solution to this other than sending an email to Disney?

Try force closing the app then open it again.
Or Delete app and re-download.
You could also try giving your ATV a restart, if that doesn’t resolve it then a full reset should fix things.

you can add/remove apps from the the appleTV up next list, you might try toggling that option and see if it knocks something back into where it's supposed to be.

not home to check where exactly, it's somewhere in the main settings app on the aTV
