Hi

Lately I'm getting the spinning blue circle when attempting to play content on disney +, it can sometimes start playing after 10 secs or so other times it times out and says something went wrong, other times content plays instantly.

Weird thing is its only Disney + I seem to notice this happen.

Im in UK and have the latest apple tv 4k device. My connection is over wifi but its strong and stable and as said other stuff like apple tv + stream perfectly fine.

Has anyone else got similar issue with disney + ?

Try removing the app and reinstalling it. Could be a glitch in the app itself. Other than that, the service may be having issues. I know that Apple TV+ behaved that way when Apple was having issues at their end.

As a side note, I hope you have an unlimited data plan as both AppleTV+ and Disney+ stream their content at 4K unless you specifically downgrade it in the settings on your AppleTV. My current data plan is 1.2TBs per month and that is easily eaten by these services unless I downgrade to 1080p.

I did try that once, I may try deleting it again.

My broadband is unlimited data, so no problem on that front.

It may not hurt to restart the Apple TV device as well, especially if you already tried deleting and reinstalling the Disney+ app.
