You missed it. It was during COVID when the parks were capped at half normal capacity. BEST TIME AT DL EVER. That's the last time I've been as I can't bring myself to experience the opposite of that!

It depends on your priorities. For us, the best time is the week before Christmas because you get all the fun of Christmas decorations, celebrations, etc. but it isn't packed with the volume of people that come Christmas Day to New Year's Day.
