I ordered the 5s in gold 16gb yesterday in the UK at 12:30pm, the apple website was experiencing an overload and therefore was shut down for a couple of hours so I couldn't order in the early morning to get "7-10 days" delivery time frame. Within 5 minutes at midnight, I almost ordered but the page wouldn't load.. When it did it returned to the normal order page which is frustrating!!!
I now have to wait until October till my phone comes, does anybody have an exact estimate as on my email it says "October" and "processing items" :(:(:(:

Nothing more then October is being given, given the high demand. All I can say is to relax and try to be patient :)

I dont really understand this "October" thing, i ordered the iPhone 5S, gold, 32GB model at 12:08 am (to be exact) on the night of release. It said 7-10 business days, in a conformation email from apple it said "delivery 7th - 10th October" so really they are all in "October"

I'd say it'll take till the end of this month (30th) for the Gold 5s to become availiable, then a few days to dispatch, blah blah.. Arives on the 7th/8th.

Apple is treating online order customers as second tier customers.

Just because we wont line up and give them free PR, our stock is given to stores instead.
