Hello all,

I recently migrated from Windows and using Thunderbird for my mail client. I am not able to figure out how to get messages to display the name I have an email address listed as in my address book. The portionof

In most cases it should give the email address your Address Book's assigned name, however the email sender can overwrite this at their end. If they want their emails to show a certain name as the sender, then this will be shown instead of any name you assign. Also remember that Mail needs to be restarted for any changes you make in Address Book to take effect. :)

hmm my post got cut off for some reason.

So it's not possible for me to override the senders display name with the one I have in my address book?
