Though, Apple advertise both of iMac 27 inch 5k and Mac book pro 15inch touch bar have 500nits brightness panel, I have found that MacBook pro's brightness is much lower than iMac. Even MacBook pro's panel brightness is close to 400 nits rather than 500. Do I have contact Genius about this issue?

Both panel have same manufacturer number 0610
and MacBook pro's display model number is A030 (know as not good as A031)

How did you find out your display model number?
My MBP 2016 with TouchBar gets brighter when it is being on charge.

You are right. Brightness increased with charger. My mistake. If you want to know display model number, go to display -> colour -> open profile -> number 17

Hm. I have A033. What does that mean? :D

Is it now brighter than the iMac?

Ah I see. Well I still think this is best display I have ever seen on a notebook :p
Where can I find that review page? I googled display check review but it didn't bring up any obvious result.
