I've noticed an odd problem with my Mac Pro. Sometimes when I boot into Windows XP I get display corruption like this. I don't boot into Windows XP too often :p but I've seen this problem appear every other boot.

Mine does stuff like that too sometimes when I wake from sleep in OS X.

I enter my screensaver password and when the desktop shows up, the distortion is gone.

The X1900 is a piece of crap, and I think that's the root of the issue here.:D

Mine does crazy stuff like that too....The weirdest is that I run a Dual DVI config, and my left monitor is on my right and right on my left, so I had to adjust to it.

Did you download the ATI drivers for XP? Go to ATI.AMD.COM and go to the drivers page and "Bootcamp" Then Windows XP and get those drivers, It might fix it for you.

i get intermittent glitches on screen , some weird scratchy lines appearing especially on the top right hand side

as has been noted previously , the x1900 really is not much of a videocard , it's noisy , buggy as hell and overheats

bring on the nvidia 8800 !!!!
