I just recently connected my mac to my 47" LG with a little bit of difficulty, but got it. Now, it seems that my computer screen fluxuates back and forth from different shades and color for a few seconds, will this affect either of my screens or damage them in any way through prolonged wear and tare? how can i fix this before i loose both screens?

If you want help you have to be more specific

    1) what kind of Mac?

    2) how is it connected? directly to the tv or through any other device then to the TV?

    3) what kind of connector are you using VGA? Svideo? ect..

    more info

    1) imac 20" ,2ghz, intel core 2 duo,800 mhz.

    2)dirrectly to t.v

3)Apple mini-dvi to dvi adapter, then a dvi to hdmi cable that is connected to my hdmi imput on my LG TV.

Since my last post my computer has been experiencing more severe glitches, computer actually froze and had to unplug it from the wall. I've since disconnected the computer and the TV in fear that it would fry both if this problem persisted. Kevin

well this actually sounds like more of an issue with your iMac graphics card, If you are getting a garbled picture on the iMac itself, make sure you don't have too many icons on your desktop, try not to have any if possible. After that run it by itself for a while ( not connected to the tv) and see if it is still freezing or giving you a video gremlins.
