Hi,
i just got my first Apple Watch (AW4 Cellular Aluminium).
Is it normal, that the frame of the Display shines through the darkened glass off the Apple Wat ch Series 4.
I first thought, there was a scratch around the edge of the glass, but it seems to be the display frame reflecting the light of a ceiling light (straight line left from the light reflection).

I can’t work out what you’re talking about from that picture. But no light leak is normal. Get it swapped out

I have no idea what that photo is supposed to show. In a dark room does light escape out the frame? If so, swap it out.

That's the bezel underneath the cover glass. Most times you can't really notice it, but if you're in an area that's well lit you can definitely see the bezel underneath the glass. Shine the flash from you phone over it and you'll really notice it.

This is the correct answer. It is indeed the cover glass under various lighting that is making it more noticeable with the bezels and the outline around the display.

Well, I still in that case, have absolutely no idea what the OP is talking about :)

Under the glass there’s a frame around the screen. That frame is reflecting light. The cover glass is dark enough to hide it most of the time, but you can see it when you’re out in direct sunlight or under the right light. That’s why I hate looking at my Series 3 outside because you can see the huge ugly bezel. Lol

Done exactly the same here caught it in a certain light and thought I had a load of micro scratches but it’s just the bezel perfectly normal

Am confused...so is it light leak? I’ve never seen anything like that on any of mine?

OLED does not have light bleed, it’s merely a reflection from the ambient lighting from either being outside or under a direct light that is causing you to see this.
